“GREEN” Are these systems green? By design, alone, no they are not. Can they be used to help a home become more efficient? Yes. Can I say that an amplifier is green? No. However, the ability to monitor a system and know that equipment is off when not in use; to know that lights are off, thermostats are set properly, lawns are not being overwatered, this allows us to conserve energy and become “Green”.  We can utilize electronic equipment that is manufactured and shipped using eco friendly techniques, and use more efficient energystar products. I cannot “green wash” the custom industry, but we can definitely use these systems in unison to become more efficient as a whole. This is a summary of ideas for your home or business.
